Grams, not percentages

Two hundred and seventy five grams, for everyone.

That is the carbohydrate Daily Value on a nutrition label, and like the rest of the panel it assumes one diet for every body in the shop. Give this your calories and your weight and it will split them properly, with protein set from your body rather than from a percentage.

Grams of carbs, the label's Daily Value

Printed against a 2,000 calorie reference diet, the same on every packet, for every person who picks it up.

Method
Protein from bodyweight at 1.6 to 2.2 g per kg, fat set as a share of calories, carbohydrate taking whatever is left. Protein 4 kcal per gram, carbohydrate 4, fat 9.
Why not percentages
A percentage split gives a 50 kg person and a 100 kg person the same protein at the same calories, which is exactly backwards. Bodyweight sets protein here.
